Our Mission
Your Child's Success is Our Goal

We believe in doing more than just helping students get better grades and test scores. We want to see every student reach their full potential and go after their dreams. It’s always a pleasure to hear from our students years later and listen to their success stories.
Our mission is to foster the intellectual and social emotional needs within all scholars. We strive for students to reach their highest potential by providing a safe, nurturing, inclusive learning an environment that celebrates the diversity of students, staff, and families in our community.
Through hands-on, developmentally appropriate play, rigorous activities, and differentiated instruction, we will build foundational skills to support each scholar's individual strengths, needs, learning styles, and culture. We are committed to our scholars' growth and early childhood development and hold ourselves accountable to high-quality standards to ensure every student exhibits confidence, is an independent critically thinking citizen, and lifelong learner with skills needed to succeed in the future.

Our Philosophy
Creating Leaders today for tomorrow
TLC Spirit LLC view of early education is to provide a nurturing and inviting learning environment that focuses on the holistic development of early learners. We believe that learning through play, using an emergent curriculum, and incorporating child methodologies, foster learning in children. Our scholars are viewed as active participants in their learning environment, as themes are derived from their interests. As key components of the education process, students must be encouraged to take ownership of their learning within the classroom.
The primary goal of our school is to support our students in reaching their developmental milestones, encouraging critical thinking, and preparing them for college and careers. To achieve this, we implement a community-style learning approach involving teachers, TLC, staff, primary caregivers, with the aim of nurturing a positive self-image in all students. Drawing inspiration from Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences, Piaget's pre-operational stage, Bloom's taxonomy, and the Creative Curriculum, TLC Spirit LLC designs a holistic child-centered curriculum.
Serving our growing multicultural community for the past 23 years, TLC SPIRIT, LLC has integrated family enrichment support and has designed our print rich classroom environment to encourage diversity to promote a strong emphasis on literacy, language skills, writing, science, social skills ,math, art , music and movement. Our educators must have a lifelong commitment to learning and stay abreast to innovative educational resources. Our teacher teams are models for our scholars so we must provide them with ongoing training in child development . Equipped with the tools necessary our educators will provide differentiated instruction and authentically assess our scholars throughout their daily schedule.
Tlc Spirit, LLC’s pedagogy derives from our philosophy and invested interest in early childhood education, thus we have been nurturing the educational seeds within our scholars and we will continue to inspire productive individuals for society's future leaders.
